Due to low levels posing Sources uptake of the ravines Rio Blanco, Maray and Chambira continues rationing of water service in Juanjui, in order to ensure supply and to supply daily requirements needed, the exacting demands of a population in distress now has to deal to fill at least a few containers that are insufficient.
The problem has increased with greater intensity because the watersheds that supply water to reservoirs have dried considerably due to the intense summer and the relentless deforestation of our fragile forests that surround the place. In a quick tour along the water system we saw a trickle of water running over stones and boulders. To remain so, villagers said, in a short time the water service could collapse and bring great economic and health problems the people of Juanjui.
