Popular initiative to recover a small micro adjacent to the |

The population adjacent to the banks of small stream Shilcayo, rising in the Cordillera Escalera ACR in Tarapoto, decided to form a committee to defend the appeal, to the inaction of public authorities. The first actions being taken by the committee is to address unscrupulous people who pollute the river, washing their cars, throwing trash and burning the forest on the banks.
The Provincial Municipality of San Martin, echoing this initiative, joined the first intervention, which consisted in notifying a driver of local transport ( "moto-carrista"), who was caught red-handed while washing your vehicle.
It is hoped that this initiative will echo in the urban population of the city of Tarapoto and awaken the corporate social responsibility in the region.
