CNDDHH demand the government to meet the comments of the OIT |

Ronald Gamarra, executive secretary of the National Coordinator of Human Rights, was in favor of observations made by the Committee of Experts on the application and implementation of Convention 169 of the International Labor Organization (OIT).
He said: "When you sign an agreement undertakes, agrees. What are signs an agreement if it will stick, "he said. This statement was made in reference to the report a few days ago which "urges the Peruvian state to suspend the activities of exploration and exploitation of natural resources that affect people covered by the agreement."
Gamarra made this remark at a press conference organized or sponsored by Oxfam International and Cooperacción FEDEPAZ on White River on Thursday 4 March.
