Amazonian URKU-studies it has as institutional mission: 1. To develop strategies of conservation and preservation of the biodiversity of the Peruvian amazonia on the basis of the scientific investigation and his practical applications. 2. To improve the quality of life of the Amazonian populations across sustainable projects of development that guard harmony with the preservation of the environment. 3. To fortify the technical capabilities and organizativas of the involved human resources in the development of projects Like vision, Amazonian URKU-Studies projects in the long term to position itself like referring in the investigation and a conservation and of the natural resources in the Peruvian Amazonia, considering the sustainable development of the towns inhabit that it. The deforestation of the forests, the loss of the biodiversity in the Peruvian Amazonia and the weak insertion of the indigenous populations and the region in projects of sustainable development, constitute the main motivation of URKU Amazonian Studies.
