There exist neither information updated of losses generated by the agricultural plagues in Peru, nor either measure in which these determine the failure of programs of investment, promotion and investigation, implemented without suitable knowledge of base. In St Martin a great quantity of pesticides is used, meaning extra charges, risk to the health, environmental pollution, and a limitation of the access to competitive markets, nevertheles this region, registers an important summit of alternative cultures to that of the coca and promissory from the commercial point of view; as consequence, new items of exportation have been inserted on the market, as the Amazonian cultures of the sacha inchik, pijuayo for palmetto, besides more propitious others for the managing agroforestry, of genetic and food importance, which they constitute a high potential in development at the expense of diverse local factors. The mathematical models, are used to explain the balance of populations. With some variants they are extremely useful in the modern agriculture, particularly in the Integrated Managing of Plagues. It can decide from the sampling, if a species behaves as plague and his determining ones, or the potential of a certain natural enemy to be considered and to decide the investment in programs of control. The proposed subproject, it considers developing an experience replicable in the model construction biomathematicians and system design agroecological, as funds and tools for the development of programs, strategies and actions of integrated managing of plagues in the Peruvian amazon. The offer considers systems to be the evaluation of a diversity agroecological whose main elements are promissory and commercial cultures, handled nowadays in St Martin without a suitable soportetécnico (GORESAM, 2003), including cultures of fish-pond and systems agroforestry that integrate species of green credits - coverages, native, medicinal and forest cultures. The intervention will generate basic and applied knowledge, for the systematic inventory of organisms fitófagos, rival, enemy natural and different charitable in every commercial agroecosystem, as well as the qualitative design of all the systems agroecological in his components I cultivate - plague - natural enemy and climate / soil. The systems will be chosen most adapted to realize the quantitative characterization of populations and factors, finally to apply the results to a structure of modeling and the design of a computer tool. The latter will generate a series of useful products, so much for producers and extensionistas: recommendations for the sampling - monitoring (size of sample, type of sampling, precision) and actions of decision (estimation of the performance, precision, risk and economic exact thresholds in the interaction P - IN in major temporary area); since of interest for investors and civil servants related to the state planning (system behavior agroecological under diverse conditions in the evaluation of pre feasibility or the aptitudes of a certain nature enemy to be considered in programs of investigation and extension in biological control, for example).Also processes and an adaptable methodology will be generated for diverse crops, for investigators in any geographical region of the country; the database of the program will allow the addition of new information from new investigations in crops that didn't agreed to the quantitative characterization in this stage, as well as the adjustment of the models and raised algorithms. Additional the results will be inputs for the development and offer of other technological marketable processes, contributing to the development of the market of specializing services. The offer considers in complementary form the promotion and development of capacities of investigative young men and local promoters, as well as the development of a local network of services and information MIP, integrated to other national networks (SIA, SNI, ZZE) and international, for the support of the productive processes and of institutional strengthening of the strategic alliance. Also it considers to reach to the legal frame MIP and performance of the National Commission for the Integrated Managing of Plagues (CONAMIP). |
